Who qualifies for medical transportation?
Those who are/have:
- Dementia, Alzheimer’s, altered LOC.
- Confined to a bed or in a wheelchair.
- In constant moderate to severe pain.
- A danger to self or others.
- Require IV meds/fluids.
- Require special handling.
- Dependent on third-party oxygen assistance.
- Unable to sit in a chair for duration of transport.
